Bologna ultras attacked Lille fans ahead of the Champions League match. Today Bologna will host the French club prediction by contact soccer tips in the 5th round of the Champions League.
As reported by Repubblica, a massive brawl between fans broke out in an Irish pub in Bologna last night. It was attended by about 30 Lille fans and about 80 Italian ultras who attacked them.
The clash lasted several minutes, and after the police arrived, Bologna fans, hiding their faces, left the premises and dispersed. The attackers were armed with rebar, as a result of which three French ultras received minor injuries. Two of them were taken to hospital and then discharged that night.
Beer bottles and trash cans from outside were also thrown into the premises during the dispute, forcing the bar`s owners to close the shutters for about a quarter of an hour while people were still inside.
Police are now investigating to identify the attackers.
